Privacy notice
Last updated 5 October 2026.
Who we are
FanMind is operated by Gooverio Labs LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (Dover, Delaware, USA).
What we store
- Your email address and a one-way hash of your password (we never store the password itself).
- Your profile: nickname, city, country and the club you support.
- Your Tactical Scenario attempts (the tactics you chose and how they were scored).
- Your match submissions (your tactical plan and predicted result for real fixtures).
- Scoring results: your reliability score, games counted, per-match scores and rankings.
- An image of your FanCoach card, generated from the items above.
- For sign-up rate limiting only: a salted one-way hash of your IP address, deleted after 24 hours.
What is public
Your public profile (/p/your-nickname) and your FanCoach card are visible to anyone with the link, without signing in. They show your nickname, country, city, club, tier, scored reliability, games, scenarios completed and rankings. Your email, your individual submissions and your scenario answers are never shown publicly.
How we use your submissions
Your Tactical Scenario answers and match submissions are used in two ways:
- To score you. We compare them with what actually happened to score your accuracy, update your reliability and rank you on the leaderboards.
- In aggregated form. We combine many fans' submissions, weighted by each fan's reliability, into tactical intelligence that does not identify you. We intend to license this aggregated intelligence to third parties such as professional clubs, media organisations and research partners. The one exception to “does not identify you”: post-match reports in the club console name the few fans whose calls were most accurate, by nickname, as the public leaderboard does.
We never share or sell your individual submissions.
No such licence or partner exists today. We will update this notice when one does.
Your public profile fields and your FanCoach card are public by design (see “What is public” above).
Lawful basis (UK and EU visitors). Scoring and ranking you: the consent you give at sign-up. Producing and licensing aggregated intelligence: our legitimate interests, and that same consent.
Emails we send
- A welcome email after you create your profile.
- Match reminders before plans lock for the featured match, if you haven't submitted yet. Every email has a “Stop match reminders” link: open it and press one button to turn them off, without signing in.
- A note when your score for a match is in.
- Replies to messages you send us through the contact form.
We send no marketing email. All of these come from support@gooverio.com. We don't track whether you open our emails or click their links.
Cookies and advertising measurement
We run ads, and we use the Google Ads tag to measure which of them bring people to FanMind and how many of those visitors create an account. The tag is provided by Google.
- It loads only on public pages (the home page, about, FAQ, CoachArena, contact, privacy, terms, and the sign-up, sign-in and password pages), never on your dashboard or anything you see while signed in, and never on public profile pages, because their address contains a nickname.
- It loads only after you press “Accept measurement”. Until then, and if you press “Decline”, nothing is loaded from Google. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a decline.
- We never send Google your email address, nickname, account or participant identifier, or anything you submit. When you create an account, Google is told only that a sign-up happened.
Cookies:
fm_consent(ours, 12 months): remembers whether you accepted or declined._gcl_au(Google, 90 days): set after you accept, to link ad clicks to sign-ups._gcl_aw(Google, 90 days) is added only if you arrived by clicking one of our ads.- Google may also set its own cookies on its own domains (such as doubleclick.net) once the tag runs; Google's privacy policy covers them.
To change your mind, use Cookie settings (also in the footer). Declining after accepting stops the tag and removes the Google cookies on our domain.
Demonstration data
FanMind currently includes 12,000 synthetic demonstration participants, so the platform can be shown working before many real fans have joined. They are marked “Synthetic” wherever they appear, and rankings note when they are computed within this demonstration dataset.
What we do not collect
No payment details, no government identifiers, and no sensitive personal data (such as health, religion or political views).
Deleting your account
To have your account and all data listed above deleted, send a request through the contact form, choosing “Data deletion request” and using the email address you signed up with. Alternatively, email support@gooverio.com from that address. Strategy packages already computed from your plans are kept, because they hold no personal data.
Changes to this notice
- 5 October 2026. Added “Cookies and advertising measurement”: a Google Ads tag that measures which of our ads bring visitors here. It loads only on public pages and only after you accept; it never receives account or submission data; “Cookie settings” in the footer changes your choice.
- 3 October 2026. Renamed the scenarios fans play from CoachArena to Tactical Scenarios; CoachArena is now the name of the private club console. Nothing about what we store or how it is used changed.
- 3 October 2026. Added “Emails we send”: welcome, match reminders (with a “Stop match reminders” link in every email, no sign-in needed), score notifications and replies to contact messages; no marketing; sent from support@gooverio.com.
- 3 October 2026. Added “How we use your submissions”: how your submissions are used to score and rank you, that aggregated, reliability-weighted submissions may be licensed to third parties, that individual submissions are never shared or sold, and the lawful basis for each use. Deletion requests: the contact form (Data deletion request) is now the first route, with email as the alternative.
